LYSOFORTE® EXTEND (LEX) is a unique nutrient absorption enhancer that can reduce feed costs and increase production profitability of poultry. The product combines the benefits of 3 active ingredients in a specific synergistic, patented ratio; Lysophospholipids are combined with essential digestive molecules such as monoglycerides and emulsifiers. LYSOFORTE EXTEND liberates various dietary nutrients through an optimised lipid digestion process, by participation in the crucial emulsification, hydrolysis and absorption process.

## Three step digestion and absorption process

**1. Emulsification and accessibility**

By removal of the fat matrix, LYSOFORTE EXTEND improves the accessibility for digestive enzymes to other nutrients, such as fibers and proteins.

**2. Hydrolysis**

LYSOFORTE EXTEND stimulates the hydrolysis process of triglycerides to produce valuable mixed micelles.

**3. Total nutrient absorption **

Through a direct impact on membrane fluidity and protein channel formation, LYSOFORTE EXTEND increases the absorption of nutrients across the enterocyte membrane.
