LUKROM is a large family-owned agricultural business in Zlín, Czech Republic. Divided into six divisions, the integrator is active in broiler and layer farming as well as pig production. LUKROM produces its own feed, operating two feed mills with a production capacity of 130,000 tonnes of feed per year.

LUKROM can rely on the services and assistance of Kemin’s Customer Laboratory Services, application engineering technology and technical service teams to help optimize their production performance. Kemin’s expertise in fat and oil quality - combined with their unique offering of a Lipid Evaluation Test (LET) - has allowed LUKROM to gain more insight into the true value of the fat and oil sources in their feed formulations. MillSMART and LYSOFORTE EXTEND improve the mill’s technical performance at a lower feed cost.
LYSOFORTE EXTEND is a patented nutritional tool that delivers more efficient nutrient absorption through a multi-level synergistic mode of action. It can be administered across all diets of poultry and pigs, in all production stages, added either ‘on top’ of the existing formulation or applied with a reformulation of the diet at a lower cost without compromising animal performance. LUKROM immediately recognized the product’s potential to help them meet their performance and operational objectives. By implementing LYSOFORTE EXTEND, they were able to significantly raise the quality of their feed and diet performance, resulting in a higher profitability.
In 2019, Kemin launched the first liquid nutrient absorption enhancer for monogastrics, LYSOFORTE EXTEND Liquid, to be added directly into the oil or fat line during feed production. Offering similar benefits to LYSOFORTE EXTEND Dry, the liquid version allows for even greater flexibility and automation at the feed plant. As a company that is always seeking for innovation, with more than 80 feed recipes, LUKROM opted rather quickly to implement LYSOFORTE EXTEND Liquid in all its broiler and turkey feed. By installing Kemin’s unique LYSOFORTE EXTEND liquid system in its biggest feed mill, LUKROM also cleared a silo for use of other dry products. “This is a great example of how continuous striving for improvement and the willingness to innovate can help to achieve significant operational improvements,” concludes Rädisch. This resulted from a close partnership built between KEMIN and LUKROM over a period of 30 years.
